In 2006, Coat Of Arms set up shop on New York’s Lower East Side, staking its claim as the premier destination for sleek, high-caliber streetwear. Founded by veteran Brooklyn-based streetwear designer @COANYC, Coat Of Arms married his grounding in street and skate culture to a more refined aesthetic, creating a distinctive East Coast sensibility that transcends its sub-cultural origins. Formerly head designer for the legendary streetwear brand Triple Five Soul from the late 90s to early 2000’s, @COANYC ’s signature style helped drive the evolution of streetwear into functional techwear.
The Collection
Cut with an eye for the timeless classic menswear staples, Coat Of Arms combines modern utilitarian details, with technical fabrics and trims while maintaining a subtle street edge.

The strength of the collection is the technical outerwear which acts as high-end exploring gear created specifically for the urban environment. Recognizing that in the new millennium, the terrain of the urban explorer is worldwide and ever-shifting, Coat Of Arms combines technical materials with modular design to create functional fashion that moves seamlessly between indoor and outdoor environments –as well as local and global travel.
With cunning details and versatile construction that demands maximum utility from every yard of their premium Japanese fabrics, the Collection 1.18 is the purest embodiment yet of Coat Of Arms’ innovative spirit.

The flagship of Collection 1.18. The premium Japanese cotton/nylon blend brings a softer, more luxurious feel to this timeless classic. Examine the nylon ripstop lining, attached to the shell at hem in the unique design, and you’ll realize this versatile piece is actually 4 jackets in 1. Where the outer shell and lining comprise 2 separate jackets, each of which can be worn as a single layer on its own, or one on top of the other.
Wear the water repellent fishtail parka lining over the M65 shell for extra protection from rain or wear the lining alone in to spring as a light weight windbreaker.

This reversible bomber in a Japanese nylon/cotton blend is the ultimate piece of travel gear; a weekender bag in the form of comfortable outerwear. In reverse mode, a grid of modular seams zipper open to reveal 24 mesh-layered compartments (4 on each sleeve, 4 on each side, repeated on the back) enough to hold essentials for a short trip including a transparent bag with airport security approved bottles for liquids, toiletry bag and packable tote bag. If you encounter low temperatures upon arriving at your destination, the compartments can be filled with packets of goose-down, retrofitting the lightweight bomber into a cold-weather puffer jacket.

A dual file tab shape of the main label inside the neck reveals 2 additional stealth pockets each with a magnetic closure. Watch video.

All outerwear comes with a free felt sleeve for your cell phone. Fits an iPhone 7/8/X or 7/8 Plus  and headphones.
